Cardiac Rehabilitation is an individualized and personalized treatment plan. It includes supervised integration and instruction of physical activity designed to improve heart function based on your personal health and cardiac health issues. Cardiac Rehabilitation programs are personalized for every patient and begin with an assessment of your overall health status.

You may be appropriate for cardiac rehabilitation if have had any of the following conditions:

  • Heart attack
  • Cardiac surgery – such as coronary bypass, valve surgery
  • Coronary artery angioplasty or stent placement
  • Angina
  • Heart failure
  • Heart transplantation
  • PVD (peripheral vascular disease)
